In the Central Province, east of the Great North Road, close to Kanona, lies a stunningly beautiful area where the Kaombe River cascades down 70 meters, splashing into a number of thin streams and sustaining a lush botanical garden. Tourists can take a plunge in the river's deep natural pool at the base of the falls and there is a camping site not far away.
