What Your Children Will Experience

Discovering Africa

We'll show where Zambia is on a map and look at photos of its beautiful nature, animals, and the daily life of children.

Secrets of Nature

We will explore exotic fruits like baobab and coconut, comparing them to fruits children already know.

Traditional Culture

We’ll discover the beauty of chitenge fabric and explore some traditional African household items.

Bemba Greeting

We'll learn a simple greeting, "Shani bwanji?", and a cheerful chant in the Bemba language from Zambia.

Dancing Together

The children will dance together with the facilitator, enjoying a cheerful African dance to the rhythm of traditional music.

Our Goal: Fostering a Global Perspective

Our mission is to cultivate curiosity, openness, and respect for diverse cultures from a young age. We show children that even though we may live in different parts of the world, we share a common joy for music, dance, and friendship. The program is designed using the principles of experiential, hands-on learning.

Our workshop is led by Ruth Nalomba, a native of Zambia who is passionate about sharing her culture with children in a fun and authentic way.
